1. Application Overview & Scope
The Yashoda Institutions application (Package Name: com.yashodainstitutions) is an institutional campus and hospital training management app developed by RP Technologies exclusively for the students, faculty, healthcare clinical trainees, staff, and parents of Yashoda Institutions, encompassing:
- Shraddha Institute of Nursing Sciences (B.Sc, P.B.B.Sc, M.Sc)
- Yashoda College of Nursing (B.Sc, GNM)
- Yashoda Institute of Allied Health Sciences (B.Sc MLT, Radiology, OTAT, Dialysis)
- Yashoda School of Nursing (GNM Diploma)
2. Device Permissions & Prominent Disclosures
The application requests access to specific device capabilities solely to perform essential educational and institutional functions. Prior to first use, runtime permission dialogs and prominent in-app disclosure notices are presented:
Foreground Only: Location coordinates are queried only when you actively trigger attendance check-in/out on campus. We do NOT track location in the background or outside duty hours.
Used strictly for student profile photo capture, biometric facial attendance check, and homework/assignment document scanning. Photos are never shared with advertising entities.
Used to deliver real-time emergency notifications, class schedule updates, clinical hospital rotation alerts, and examination timetables.
Allows students and faculty to download lecture notes, circulars, fee receipts, syllabus guidelines, and identity card records.
3. Biometric & Facial Feature Security
• Non-Reversible Mathematical Vectors: When facial recognition is configured for campus kiosks or mobile check-in, facial landmarks are converted into 512-dimensional normalized vectors. The raw facial photo is discarded or encrypted, and the mathematical representation cannot be reverse-engineered into a photograph.
• Multi-Tenant Database Isolation: Templates for Yashoda Institutions are strictly partitioned in the dedicated tenant database with zero cross-tenant query access.
4. Data Retention & Account Deletion Policy
In compliance with Google Play Store policies and India's DPDP Act 2023, users may request the deletion of their Yashoda Institutions app account and all associated telemetry at any time.
